May 8 (UPI) -- Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario cozied up at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The 29-year-old actor and 31-year-old actress, who co-star in the new movie Baywatch, sparked dating rumors with their flirty behavior at the awards show Sunday in Los Angeles.

Efron and Daddario walked the red carpet separately, but sat next to each other inside the event. The actress was all smiles in a photo she shared on Instagram of the table's seating arrangement.
"Heck yeah--I'm officially excited for the MTV awards. Thanks seating gods!" Efron commented on the post.
The Baywatch co-stars presented Best Actor in a Show to Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown during the ceremony. Daddario shared a photo of Efron kissing her on the cheek backstage.
"@mtv movie and tv awards backstage shenanigans with @zacefron #SummerandBrody #Baywatch," she wrote.
Efron and Daddrio play Matt Brody and Summer Quinn in Baywatch, which opens in theaters May 25. Hollywood Life reported last week that the pair started dating after meeting on set.
"Everyone is buzzing that Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario are secretly seeing each other have been doing so for months," a source said. "They had amazing onset chemistry and have been spending time together since the movie wrapped."
"She thinks he is super sexy, smart, hilarious and loved working with him," the insider added. "He finds her to be an amazing actress and really intelligent."
