May 7 (UPI) -- New trailers for the eagerly awaited superheroine movie Wonder Woman and horror flick It were unveiled during the MTV Movie & TV Awards Sunday.

Warner Bros. released its final trailer for Wonder Woman, which stars Gal Gadot and is set for release on June 2. With an ensemble that includes Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, the film was directed by Patty Jenkins.

"Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior," reads the message that accompanied the 2 1/2-minute clip when it was posted on YouTube after its awards-show premiere. "Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers ... and her true destiny."

Viewers of the prize presentation were also treated to a 90-second sneak peek at the studio's upcoming, big-screen adaptation of Stephen King's It. Set for release on Sept. 8 and directed by Andres Muschietti, it stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Nicholas Hamilton.

The film follows young Bill and his friends as they try to bring home Bill's little brother Georgie, who was taken by an evil clown named Pennywise, played by Bill Skarsgard.
