April 13 (UPI) -- Batman, Wonder Woman and more have come together in a new poster for Warner Bros. upcoming superhero ensemble film, Justice League.

The new image, released Wednesday, features the words "Unite the League" inserted between Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman ( Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) standing tall and looking out into the distance.

Noticeably missing is Henry Cavill's Superman who was killed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Man of Steel has been shown before in promotional material for Justice League as Warner Bros. has confirmed that the character will be making a return.

The image comes weeks after the first full-length trailer for the film was released featuring Batman assembling the team of heroes in order to take on a new enemy that threatens earth.

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy," reads the synopsis.

"Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash -- it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League also stars Amber Heard (Mera), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jeremy Irons (Alfred) and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

Justice League soars into theaters Nov. 17.
