Casts of 'The Godfather,' 'Reservoir Dogs' to reunite at Tribeca

March 8 (UPI) -- The 16th annual Tribeca Film Festival is to close on April 29 with an epic event marking the 45th anniversary of the release of The Godfather.

Back-to-back screenings of The Godfather and The Godfather Part II are scheduled, to be followed by a reunion and conversation with director Francis Ford Coppola and actors Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and Robert De Niro.

Organizers announced Wednesday that the festival will also include a special, sing-along screening in honor of the 25th anniversary of Aladdin, and a conversation with filmmaker Michael Moore after a showing of his 15-year-old documentary Bowling for Columbine.

Also planned is the 25th anniversary screening of Reservoir Dogs, followed by a panel discussion with director Quentin Tarantino and members of the cast.

  The film festival will take place in New York April 19-30.
