Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Private couple Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs returned to the red carpet Thursday.
The 30-year-old English actor and 29-year-old singer made a rare public appearance together at the London premiere of The Lost City of Z.
Pattinson, who plays Corporal Henry Costin in the forthcoming movie, was all smiles as he got close to his fiancée for photos. The singer, born Tahliah Barnett, turned heads in a black top and pants with zipper detail.
Charlie Hunnam, Sienna Miller and Tom Holland were among the film's other stars at the event. The Lost City of Z is based on the book of the same name by David Grann, and opens in theaters Apr. 14.
Pattinson and FKA twigs were first linked in 2014 and got engaged the next year. E! News reported in 2015 that "things are just fine" between the couple, despite them appearing to put their wedding on hold.
"There isn't a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married," a source said.
"There is a special connection between the two of them," the insider added. "They clicked instantly and they literally have been inseparable."
Pattinson previously dated his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, who is now seeing model Stella Maxwell. The actress recalled in an interview with Variety in January how Donald Trump once tweeted about her relationship with Pattinson.
"He was mad at me a couple years ago -- really obsessed with me a couple years ago, which is [expletive] crazy," she said of the president. "I can't even understand it ... It's such a far-out concept."
