Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Dakota Johnson couldn't help but laugh while spoofing Fifty Shades on The Tonight Show.

The 27-year-old actress and host Jimmy Fallon cracked up while performing a Fifty Shades Darker-inspired scene during Mad Lib Theater on Monday's episode of the NBC late-night talk show.

Johnson provided random words, including "pinching," "penguins" and "knee," for the Mad Lib before acting out the scene with Fallon. The actress pretended to be Anastasia Steele interviewing Christian Grey in his office.

"[I owe my success to] following the same routine every morning -- waking up, brushing my teeth and then pinching at the gym," Fallon declared as Christian.

"Your company is involved primarily in agricultural projects feeding the world's penguins. With that kind of passion, I wonder if your knee might be bigger than you let on," Johnson responded as Anastasia "Barf Barf."

Johnson plays Anastasia in the Fifty Shades films, which co-star Jamie Dornan as BDSM-loving businessman Christian. She recently discussed her new appreciation for the world of BDSM in the March issue of Glamour U.K.

"Oh some of that stuff is just so beautiful! When we first started on Fifty Shades, that wasn't a world I was privy to at all, and I soon found out there are all these different tiers," the star told the magazine.

"There are some things out there that are really grimy and nasty, and then there are really beautiful, intricate and chic toys," she elaborated. "Actually, whole aspects of the BDSM world are truly beautiful."

Dornan himself spoofed the movies by substituting office supplies for sex toys on Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Fifty Shades Darker, which opens Feb. 10, was preceded by Fifty Shades of Grey, and will be followed by Fifty Shades Freed in 2018.
