Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Emma Watson falls in love with Dan Stevens in Disney's final trailer for their upcoming live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.

The clip, released Monday, retells the classic Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont fairy tale that Disney previously adapted as a 1991 animated movie as Belle (Watson), is taken prisoner inside The Beast's (Stevens) magical but cursed castle as she attempts to save her father (Kevin Kline).

After Belle is saved by The Beast from a vicious pack of wolves, the book worm learns to look past his frightening exterior and discover the kind soul of a prince that lies within as she nurses him back to health.

"You have to help me, you have to stand," Belle says to the injured Beast.

The trailer also offers glimpses at The Beast's castle staff who have been turned into household items including Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth and Nathan Mack as Chip along with the villainous Gatson played by Luke Evans and his sidekick Le Fou portrayed by Josh Gad as they perform classic musical numbers from the animated original.

"Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-telling of the studio's animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs," reads the synopsis.

Directed by Bill Condon, Beauty and the Beast arrives in theaters March 17.
