Netflix says Sandy Wexler -- its next, original comedy movie starring Adam Sandler -- will be available for streaming on April 14.

A 30-second teaser trailer for the 1990s-set film, featuring Sandler as an enthusiastic, but clueless talent manager, was released online Thursday. It shows Sandler's Sandy interrupting a film shoot to ask who an actor is.

Directed by Steven Brill, the comedy co-stars Jennifer Hudson, Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Aaron Neville and Arsenio Hall.

"Sandy Wexler is a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business," a synopsis said. "His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke, a tremendously talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park."

Sandler and Netflix previously collaborated on The Do-Over and The Ridiculous Six.
