NEW YORK, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Katie Holmes and James Corden will appear in the Ocean's Eleven spinoff Ocean's Eight.

The 38-year-old actress was spotted arriving on the movie's set Wednesday in New York and will have a cameo in the film, while Corden is slated for a supporting role.

"I'm a fan of all the Ocean's movies. So, I'm happy that it has so many amazing women in it, so many amazing actresses. It's really so much fun being a part of," Holmes told Entertainment Tonight.

"I play myself. It's just a cameo," she added.

Deadline reported Thursday that Corden, the host of Late Late Night, will play an insurance investigator in the new film. Matt Damon, who played Linus Caldwell in the Ocean's trilogy, will also have a small part.

"I'm doing a little bit in the movie," the actor told ET in November. "I haven't read it yet, but the cast is phenomenal and I'm excited to see what those women do with it. It's going to be fun."

Ocean's Eight is a female-led spinoff of the Ocean's trilogy -- Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen -- which are based on the 1960 film Ocean's Eleven. Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway will star.

"I think it's going to be awesome," Damon previously told ET Canada of the spinoff. "They're gonna kick [expletive]."

Holmes last starred in and directed an adaptation of the Annie Weatherwax novel All We Had. She will reprise Jackie Kennedy in the Reelz series The Kennedys: After Camelot, which premieres this year.
