LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Rogue One star Ben Mendelsohn and wife Emma Forrest are headed for divorce.
Forrest, a 40-year-old British-American journalist, filed for divorce from the 47-year-old Australian actor Dec. 23 after more than four years of marriage, according to TMZ.
Forrest listed their date of separation as Dec. 1 and cited "irreconcilable differences" for the split. E! News reports she's seeking spousal support and physical custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Carolina, with visitation rights for Mendelsohn.
Mendelsohn married Forrest in June 2012, and is also the father of an older daughter from a previous relationship. Forrest was last seen with Mendelsohn at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in February, and did not attend any Rogue One premieres.
The news comes just two weeks after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opened in theaters. Mendelsohn, who plays Orson Krennic in the film, recently told Collider that director Gareth Edwards filmed multiple variations of scenes in the movie.
"There's been quite a few renderings of [the story] within Gareth's mind, and I dare say some of it's been captured on film," the actor revealed. "So there are different renderings."
"We did have multiple, multiple ways of going at any given scenario," he added. "I know from having seen sort of the crucial kind of scenes throughout it, I know there's vastly different readings of at least four of those scenes."
Mendelsohn is also known for The Year My Voice Broke, Animal Kingdom and The Dark Knight Rises. He will star in Darkest Hour with Gary Oldman and Ready Player One with Tye Sheridan.
