'Moana' is the No. 1 movie in North America for a third weekend

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- The animated adventure Moana is the No. 1 movie in North America for a third, consecutive weekend, earning an additional $18.8 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Office Christmas Party with $17.5 million, followed by Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at No. 3 with $10.8 million, Arrival at No. 4 with $5.6 million and Doctor Strange at No. 5 with $4.6 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Allied at No. 6 with $4 million, Nocturnal Animals at No. 7 with $3.19 million, Manchester by the Sea at No. 8 with $3.16 million, Trolls at No. 9 with $3.11 million and Hacksaw Ridge at No. 10 with $2.3 million.
