'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' teaser trailer features Star-Lord, Rocket and Baby Groot

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Marvel Entertainment released a 2-minute teaser trailer for its upcoming space comedy Guardians of the Galaxy 2 this weekend.

Saturday's clip featured the return of fan-favorite heroes such as Star-Lord [played by Chris Pratt] and Gamora [played by Zoe Saldana], as well as the animated characters Rocket [voiced by Bradley Cooper] and Baby Groot [voiced by Vin Diesel.]

The fresh clip has already received more than 2.2 million views. The sequel to 2014's James Gunn-helmed blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy is set for release in May.
