LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Batman is feeling lonely and is in need of some friends in the latest trailer for the upcoming Warner Bros. action-comedy The Lego Batman Movie.
"Master Bruce, your greatest fear is being a part of a family again," notes trusty butler Alfred, voiced by Ralph Fiennes.
"Sir you need to take responsibility for your life and it starts by raising the young orphan you adopted," he continues, referring to the colorful and positive Robin, voiced by Michael Cera.
After discovering the Batcave and acquiring his own superhero outfit, Robin then joins Batman as he takes on The Joker (Zach Galifianakis) and teams up with new police commissioner Barbra Gordon (Rosario Dawson) and Alfred to form a new crime-fighting team.
"There are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up," reads the film's synopsis.
Directed by Chris McKay, The Lego Batman Movie opens in theaters Feb. 10, 2017.
