NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Adam West says he is honored to be associated with his screen alter-ego Batman for 50 years, but still hopes to play a great dramatic role someday.
"Right now, I would love to do, for example, a movie as an old codger who is really, rankly misinformed about what he thinks people are doing. But he resents them putting the trash out at the wrong time or the kids on his lawn or whatever. But you finally realize, as you go along, that the guy has maybe a terrible tragedy in his life. I don't know, but I want to get my teeth into something like that now that I am an older guy, that I can play that might be more truthful," the 88-year-old actor said during a recent round-table interview with reporters at New York Comic Con.
