TORONTO, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Reese Witherspoon and Scarlett Johansson stunned on the red carpet Sunday.

The 40-year-old actress and 31-year-old Marvel star attended the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of their movie, Sing, which screened as a special presentation.

Witherspoon and Johansson, who voice Rosita and Ash, both turned heads in minidresses. Witherspoon wore an off-shoulder number with floral embroidery, while Johansson chose a bright red frock with sheer sleeves and an oversized bow.

Matthew McConaughey, Tori Kelly and Taron Egerton were among the movie's other stars who walked the red carpet. The film also features Seth McFarlane, John C. Reilly and Nick Kroll, who weren't present at the event.

Sing is an animated musical comedy written and directed by The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy helmer Garth Jennings. The movie follows a koala (McConaughey) and sheep (Reilly) who hold a singing contest to raise money for their theater.

"It's definitely an uplifting, heartwarming story," Johansson told Flicks and the City 2 at the premiere. "I think that it's a film really about following your dream, taking a big chance, a big leap of faith, and relying on the support of your friends that believe in you to make big things happen."
