LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Renee Zellweger and Greg Kinnear help Djimon Hounsou get back on his feet in the first trailer for upcoming drama, Same Kind of Different as Me.

The clip, released Wednesday, features the story of couple Ron (Kinnear) and Deborah (Zellweger) Hall, whose marriage is on the rocks until they meet and befriend a homeless man, Denver Moore (Hounsou) after Deborah has a dream about him.

The film, which is said to be based on a true story, is an adaptation of a book of the same name written by the real life Ron and Moore.

"Same Kind of Different as Me is the story of an international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) who must befriend a dangerous homeless man (Djimon Hounsou) in order to save his struggling marriage to his wife (Renée Zellweger), a woman whose dreams will lead all three of them on the most remarkable journey of their lives," reads the film's synopsis.

Jon Voight also stars in the film as Ron's disapproving father. Same Kind of Different as Me was directed by Michael Carney and will arrive in theaters Feb. 3, 2017.
