LOS ANGELES, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Mark Ruffalo has taken to social media to share a series of on-set photos from his upcoming Avengers team-up film, Thor: Ragnarok.
The pics released Wednesday on Instagram, celebrate the actor's last day on-set and also feature his costar, The God of Thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth.
"Hemsworth in Full Thor3 Costume!!!" Ruffalo captioned a behind-the-scenes photo of Hemsworth who is notably seen sporting a shorter haircut and defined beard, different from Thor's usual long golden locks. The rest of Hemsworth's outfit is shielded however by a hanging shirt.
A second photo features the Avengers teammates hanging out inside what appears to be a makeup room where the actor's short blonde hair is once again on display, further teasing how Thor's look might change in the sequel.
Ruffalo's third image from the day included a selfie with Ragnarok director Taika Waititi in which the 48-year-old declared that he had already wrapped up shooting his scenes for the film.
"Waititi and "Ruffles" on the set of #Thor3 last day. Had such a great good fun time making this movie. Thanks @taikawaititi @chrishemsworth , @tessamaethompson @marvel for the love and the laughs," he wrote also tagging new cast member Tessa Thompson who is reportedly taking Natalie Portman's place who dropped out of the film as Thor's love interest.
"Laugh now, cry later," Ruffalo captioned the final photo which included the star smiling, face-to-face with his character, The Hulk.
Thor: Ragnarok was described by Ruffalo has a "universal road movie" back in January, comparing it to Charles Grodin's and Robert De Niro's Midnight Run.
Hemsworth and Ruffalo will be joined by returning Thor series regulars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Idris Elba (Heimdall) and Anthony Hopkins (Odin) along with newcomers Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Karl Urban (Skurge the Executioner) and Cate Blanchett as a new villain Hela.
Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters Oct. 27, 2017.
