LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Lionsgate has released a collection of new character posters featuring the new cast of Mighty Morphin heroes for their upcoming film reboot of Power Rangers. The images released Thursday on Twitter showcase close-ups of stars Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger Jason), Becky G (Yellow Ranger Trini), RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger Billy), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger Kimberly), and Ludi Lin (Black Ranger Zack).

Each poster is tinted with their character's signature ranger color along with the long-running franchises thunderbolt logo.
The film directed by Dean Israelite will also star Bryan Cranston as team mentor Zordon and Elizabeth Banks as main antagonist Rita Repulsa.
Speaking of his role in the film, Cranston explained how Zordon, a floating, ghastly looking head who would lead and give advice to the Rangers, "still has a heart and mind, but an agenda that he's got to get these five Power Rangers to defend earth or else everyone they know will be killed."
Power Rangers blasts into theaters March 24, 2017.
