LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) -- Miles Teller stars as real-life boxer Vinny "The Pazmanian Devil" Pazienza in the first trailer for Bleed for This.

The clip which premiered through Sports Illustrated Wednesday, highlights Pazienza's lucrative and hard-hitting boxing career before he is sidelined following a car crash.

Unwilling to give up and let his injuries hamper his ability to fight, Pazienza ignores his doctor's wishes for surgery so that he can enter the ring once again.

"With this severe of an injury, one bump, one fall, any kind of movement, and your spinal cord could sever," warns a doctor.

"I know exactly how to give up, it's easy," the boxer explains to his trailer Kevin Rooney, portrayed by Aaron Eckhart. "I'm not done. I got more in me."

Directed by Ben Younger and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Bleed for This opens in limited release on Nov. 4 but then will be available nationwide starting Nov. 23.
