Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick team up in first trailer for Dreamworks 'Trolls'

LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick star as a pair of wild-haired tree dwellers in the first trailer for Dreamworks upcoming animated comedy, Trolls.

The clip released Wednesday, introduces Timberlake's grumpy character Branch who is unhappy about living next door to the colorful and cheerful leader of the trolls Poppy, voiced my Anna Kendrick. However, the two opposites must come together after their home is attacked by the troll-eating monster Bergens.

"From the creators of Shrek comes the most smart, funny, irreverent animated comedy of the year, DreamWorks' Trolls," notes the film's official synopsis. "This holiday season, enter a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters and discover the story of the overly optimistic Trolls, with a constant song on their lips, and the comedicly pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomach."

The film will also feature original music from Timberlake and also stars Russell Brand, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Ron Funches, Icona Pop and Gwen Stefani. The debut trailer was set to the singer's latest single, "Can't Stop the Feeling."

Trolls is set to arrive in theaters Nov 4.
