Starring Gerard Butler, Abbie Cornish, Jim Sturgess and Ed Harris, Geostorm is slated to open Oct. 10, 2017, after being bumped from Jan. 13, 2017.

Cinema Blend credited the scheduling changes to the studio's focus on its DC Comics and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them franchises.
