LOS ANGELES, June 15 (UPI) -- X-Men star Evan Peters wants a crossover film between his character Quicksilver and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.

"I would like to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver movie, I think that would be really fun," the actor explained while speaking with TheWrap.

Peters who has portrayed the silver-haired speedster in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse was less sure however when asked about a potential Quicksilver solo-film noting how long it takes to film the mutants fan-favorite slow-motion action scenes.

"Oh my god, I don't know. It would take three years to shoot, wouldn't it? Yeah I don't know, I would love to do that," he explained.

Peters isn't the only one involved with Fox's franchise who wants to see more mutant crossovers on film. Back in April, Deadpool and X-Men producer Simon Kinberg noted how he "would love to see" Reynolds crossover with Sony and Marvel's Spider-Man.

"With all of the deals that have recently started happening, we asked if they could get visitation rights to Sony's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man," Kinberg said alongside Deadpool director Tim Miller, who had previously stated his wish to bring together the X-Men and Avengers on film.

"I would love to, someday, in part heal the rift between the world of X-Men and the world of Avengers," Miller said. "There's so much crossover in the comics, it would be neat to one day see those characters share a movie. It would be fun to all team-up one day, somehow, together if that could work," Kinberg added.
