CANNES , France, May 22 (UPI) -- Ken Loach's I, Daniel Blake won the Palm D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival Sunday.
He previously won the festival's top prize a decade ago for The Wind That Shakes the Barley.
It's Only the End of the World by Xavier Dolan earned this year's Grand Prix, while Cristian Mungiu shared the Best Director distinction he won for Graduation with Personal Shopper filmmaker Olivier Assayas.
Asghar Farhadi took home the Best Screenplay award for The Salesman, which earned as well the Best Actor title for its leading man Shahab Hosseini.
American Honey picked up the Jury Prize and Jaclyn Jose scored the Best Actress accolade for Ma'Rosa.
