LOS ANGELES, May 17 (UPI) -- Chloe Grace Moretz and boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham made their red carpet debut as a couple Monday.

Moretz wore a plunging Alexander McQueen dress with a delicate bralette, while Beckham kept it casual in a blazer and jeans. The couple were openly affectionate as they posed for photos.

"Now it's out. It's done," Moretz told E! News of their debut. "Get over it. It's real. We're together and that's it!"

"He's very sweet," she added after revealing Beckham surprised her by flying in for the premiere from London. "He's a very, very genuine man. He's a gentle man."

Moretz and Beckham were first linked in April and confirmed their relationship the next month. The actress admitted she finds dating in the spotlight "horrible and weird" in the June issue of InStyle U.K. magazine.

"It creates a mass frenzy," she said of dating another celebrity. "They follow you in separate cars so you can't just run around and share little silly and cute moments."
