LOS ANGELES, April 22 (UPI) -- Café Society released a first trailer starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart on Thursday.

The preview sees New York native Bobby (Eisenberg) move to Los Angeles, where his uncle Phil (Steve Carrell) is a big-time agent. Bobby falls in love with Phil's assistant Vonnie (Stewart) as he takes on Old Hollywood.

The Heartbreak Kid actress Jeannie Berlin also stars as Bobby's mom Rose, with Gossip Girl star Blake Lively as Bobby's love interest Kat. Parker Posey, Corey Stoll, Ken Stott and Anna Camp also have roles.

Café Society is directed by Woody Allen and will open the Cannes International Film Festival on May 11. Lionsgate and Amazon Studios will release the film Aug. 12.

Allen last released Irrational Man in August and is also developing a new TV series for Amazon. Eisenberg and Stewart previously co-starred in the 2009 movie Adventureland and reunited for the 2015 film American Ultra.

"It's more a coincidence than anything else," Eisenberg said of working with Stewart to Movie Network in March. "She is great, very talented and has a great sense of humor. The three films we've done together have had similar funny tones."
