Set to classic rock song "Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet, the trailer highlights how the band of incarnated misfits are formed by government official Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) to carry out top-secret black ops missions against their will.

Warner Bros.' second installment, as part of its DC comics cinematic universe following the March release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, also stars Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo) Adam Beach (Slipknot) and group leader Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), who warns the team that anyone who doesn't follow orders will die.
