LOS ANGELES, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Priyanka Chopra, Olivia Wilde, Alicia Vikander, Olivia Munn and Sophie Turner were among the first well-dressed stars to dazzle on the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles Sunday.

Other head-turning, early arrivals included Chrissy Teigen, Rooney Mara, Brie Larson, Whoopi Goldberg, Sofia Vergara, Andra Day, Daisy Ridley, Forrest Goodluck, Lou Gossett Jr., Eddie Redmayne, Naomi Watts, Dave Grohl, Mindy Kaling, Abraham Attah, Saoirse Ronan and Common.

The gala honoring excellence in film is to be hosted by comedian Chris Rock. It will air on ABC.
