'Fantastic Four,' 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sweep the Razzie Awards

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- The superhero flick Fantastic Four and the erotic drama Fifty Shades of Grey led the field when the Razzie Awards for bad films were presented Saturday night, Oscar Eve.

The movies shared the top title of Worst Picture.

Fantastic Four was additionally recognized as Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel and Josh Trank was deemed Worst Director for helming it.

Fifty Shades of Grey leads Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were named Worst Actor and Actress, and shared the distinction of Worst Screen Combo. The movie also scored the Razzie for Worst Screenplay.

The Worst Supporting Actor dishonor went to Eddie Redmayne for Jupiter Ascending, while the Worst Supporting Actress trophy was given to Kaley Cuoco for her vocal work in Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chip and live-action performance in The Wedding Ringer.

Current Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone earned the Redeemer Award as a previous Razzie winner who changed his track record with a stellar performance in Creed.

Redmayne -- last year's Academy Award winner for The Theory of Everything -- is now in the running for the Best Actor Oscar for his work in The Danish Girl.
