'Big Short,' 'Fargo,' 'Transparent' honored by the Producers Guild of America

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- The star-studded financial comedy The Big Short won the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures at the Producers Guild of America Awards ceremony in Los Angeles Saturday night.

The award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures went to Inside Out, while the award for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures was presented to Amy.

Fargo scored the David L. Wolper Award for Outstanding Producer of Long-Form Television, Game of Thrones won the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television Drama and Transparent earned the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television Comedy.
