'Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2' tops the North American box office for a second weekend

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2 is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning an additional $51.6 million during its second weekend in release, Rentrak announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 for the period of Nov. 27-29 is The Good Dinosaur with $39.2 million, Creed at No. 3 with $30 million, Spectre at No. 4 with $12.8 million and The Peanuts Movie at No. 5 with $9.7 million.

Rounding out the top tier are The Night Before at No. 6 with $8.2 million, The Secret in Their Eyes at No. 7 with $4.5 million, Spotlight at No. 8 with $4.5 million, Brooklyn at No. 9 with $3.8 million and The Martian at No. 10 with $3.3 million.
