The preview sees Bek help Horus reclaim his kingdom after Set blinds the sky god and steals his throne. The plot strays from Egyptian mythology, which sees Horus avenge his father, the sky god Osiris, after Set kills his dad.

Gods of Egypt is directed by The Crow and I, Robot director Alex Proyas, and opens in theaters on Feb. 26. Chadwick Boseman co-stars as Thoth, the god of knowledge, with Courtney Eaton as the character Zaya.

Butler is known for 300, and is also stars in London Has Fallen with Morgan Freeman. Coster-Waldau plays Jamie Lannister on the HBO series Game of Thrones, while Thwaites is known for Maleficent and The Giver.
