Travis Fimmel, Toby Kebbell star in first 'Warcraft' trailer

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Warcraft released an epic first trailer starring Travis Fimmel and Toby Kebbell on Friday.

The 36-year-old Australian actor portrays Sir Anduin Lothar, a human Alliance knight, while Kebbell plays Durotan, an orc Horde leader and chieftain of the exiled Frostwolf clan.

The preview explores the orcs' arrival in Azeroth and the events that sparked the human-orc wars. The movie will see Anduin and Durotan embark on "a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home."

Dominic Cooper also stars as the human king Llane Wrynn, with Ben Foster as the human mage Magus Medivh, Clancy Brown as the orc warchief Blackhand, Robert Kazinsky as the orc warrior Orgrim Doomhammer and Paula Patton as the half-orc Garona.

Warcraft is based on the Blizzard Entertainment video game series of the same name, and opens in theaters June 10, 2016. The first game, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, was released in 1996, and followed by four additional core games.

Fimmel plays Ragnar Lothbrook on the History Channel series Vikings, and also portrayed Ellis Dove on A&E drama The Beast. Kebbell is known for such films as Wrath of the Titans, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Fantastic Four.
