LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Dirty Grandpa released a first trailer starring Zac Efron and Robert De Niro on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old actor plays a groom-to-be whose grandfather (De Niro) tricks him into driving to Florida days before his wedding. The preview sees the pair party with Aubrey Plaza's character and go wild during spring break in Daytona Beach.

Efron and De Niro, 72, were photographed on the movie's set in Tybee Island, Ga., in April. The actors were spotted engaging in what appeared to be a shirtless body competition, seen briefly in the trailer.

Dirty Grandpa is directed by Ali G Indahouse and Borat co-writer Dan Mazer, and opens in theaters Jan. 22, 2016. Julianne Hough co-stars as Efron's character's bride-to-be, and Zoey Deutch, Dermot Mulroney and Adam Pally also have roles.

Efron last appeared in the poorly-received We Are Your Friends, and is also slated for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. De Niro will star in Heist with Dave Bautista and Joy with Jennifer Lawrence.
