LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- The Ridiculous 6 released a first trailer starring Adam Sandler on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old actor plays Tommy "White Knife" Stockburn, an aspiring outlaw who discovers he has five half-brothers (Luke Wilson, Taylor Lautner, Terry Crews, Rob Schneider and Jorge Garcia).

The preview sees the six siblings plan a major robbery with Will Forte's character in hot pursuit. Nick Nolte plays the brothers' long-lost father, Frank Stockburn, and Danny Trejo, Steve Buscemi, Steve Zahn, Harvey Keitel and David Spade also have roles.

The Ridiculous 6 will be released Dec. 11 on Netflix. The movie made headlines in April after Native American actors left the film in protest of perceived stereotypes. A recording was subsequently released of producers telling the actors to leave if they are "overly sensitive."

The film is the first of a four-movie deal Sandler signed with Netflix in October 2014. The actor recently voiced Dracula in the animated feature Hotel Transylvania 2, and is also slated for new comedy The Do Over with Paula Patton.
