LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Walt Disney Pictures says it will release the first trailer for its upcoming, live-action remake of The Jungle Book Monday.
The preview of the eagerly awaited movie is to premiere on Access Hollywood.

The Jon Favreau-directed film is scheduled for release in theaters on April 15.
Disney posted a brief glimpse of The Jungle Book on Facebook this weekend.
The movie studio previously adapted Rudyard Kipling's book as a 1967, animated movie. The new version will star newcomer Neel Sethi as the orphaned boy Mowgli. Bill Murray, Lupita Nyong'o, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba and Scarlett Johansson will co-star.
