McG to direct thriller 'The Babysitter' for New Line Cinema

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Charlie's Angels and We Are Marshall director McG has confirmed he will helm The Babysitter, a Brian Duffield-penned picture for New Line Cinema.

Variety reported McG's Wonderland Sound and Vision will produce the movie, which follows a 12-year-old boy and his babysitter on a night when things take an unexpected turn.

McG's company also is co-financing the movie through a partnership with Zack Schiller of Boies/Schiller Film Group.

McG, 47, most recently produced The Duff and Before You Go. The last movie he directed was 2014's 3 Days to Kill.
