Ben Foster and John Magaro round out Webber's team as Richard Livesey and Ervin Maske. The foursome undertook a risky rescue mission after the oil tanker collided with the S.S. Fort Mercer during a severe storm off Cape Cod.

The Finest Hours is based on the Casey Sherman and Michael J. Tougias book of the same name, and opens in theaters Jan. 29. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl), and co-stars Eric Bana and Holliday Grainger.

Pine is also scheduled for Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, and will return as James T. Kirk in Star Trek Beyond. Affleck will portray Meriwether Lewis in upcoming HBO miniseries Lewis and Clark.
