'Furious 7' is North America's No. 1 movie for a second weekend

LOS ANGELES, April 12 (UPI) -- The high-octane blockbuster Furious 7 spent a second weekend at the top of the North American box office, Rentrak announced Sunday.

Starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson and the late Paul Walker, the movie scored $61 million in receipts its second weekend in theaters.

Coming in at No. 2 for the period of April 10-12 is Home with $19 million, followed by The Longest Ride at No. 3 with $13.5 million, Get Hard at No. 4 with $8.6 million and Cinderella at No. 5 with $7.2 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Insurgent at No. 6 with $6.9 million, Woman in Gold at No. 7 with $5.8 million, It Follows at No. 8 with $2 million, Danny Collins at No. 9 with $1.6 million and While We're Young at No. 10 with $1.4 million.
