"I'd officially like to welcome our newest mutant #JubilationLee #Jubilee @LanaCondor to #XMEN #Apocalypse," director Bryan Singer announced Wednesday on Instagram.

In the Marvel comics, Jubilee lives a comfortable life in Beverly Hills until her parents are murdered by hitmen. She discovers her ability to generate pyrotechnic energy plasmoids from her hands, and is taken in by the X-Men after becoming close to Wolverine.

X-Men: Apocalypse will see the team of mutants take on ancient supervillain Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac). Jennifer Lawrence will return as Mystique in her final X-Men film, with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Michael Fassbender as Magneto and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.
