NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- New York's Tribeca Film Festival has booked numerous acclaimed filmmakers for its series of conversations and panel discussions next month.

Set to talk about their work are Christopher Nolan, George Lucas, Harvey Weinstein, Cary Fukunaga, Brad Bird, Gus Van Sant, Catherine Martin and Bennett Miller.

Also scheduled to take part in festival events are actress and recording artist Courtney Love, talk-show host Stephen Colbert, composer Carter Burwell, sound mixer Skip Lievsay, French artist JR, Snapchat stars Jerome Jarre and Chris Carm, former spy Valerie Plame, CNN's Christiane Amanpour, and architect and designer David Rockwell.

"Each year, the conversations we offer are among the Tribeca's most anticipated and sought-after events and we're proud of the participants we're going to hear from this year," Executive Vice President of Tribeca Enterprises Paula Weinstein said in a statement Monday. "These panels offer unique insights into the filmmaking process and give audiences an opportunity to learn from industry leaders across a wide range of subjects and contribute to the conversation."
