Shailene Woodley shines at world premiere of 'Insurgent' in London

LONDON, March 12 (UPI) -- Shailene Woodley and Theo James were all smiles on the red carpet of the world premiere of their new film Insurgent on Wednesday.

The event took place at London's Odeon Leicester Square and featured appearances from author Veronica Roth, singer and dancer Ashley Roberts, Vogue Williams and many more.

Woodley, who stars in the film as heroine Tris Prior, wore a back-bearing, floor-length gown for the event.

Insurgent is the second movie adaptation in Roth's Divergent series. The film finds Tris (Woodley) fighting against her inner demons as she readies to go to battle against those who are a threat to her kind.

Also starring Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts and Miles Teller, Insurgent will be released March 20.
