LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Kevin Spacey and Michael Shannon have begun work on their big-screen comedy Elvis & Nixon, which is based on a true story.

The first photo of the actors as their respective characters -- U.S. President Richard Nixon and rock 'n' roll icon Elvis Presley -- was released Thursday. It shows the pair sitting together, face-to-face in the White House.
