LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- American Sniper is receiving an Internet ribbing after people began to notice the fake baby used in one of the movie's scenes.

In a scene Bradley Cooper's character holding his baby, viewers began to notice the baby was distinctly inhuman and, in fact, a plastic doll.

In a deleted tweet from late December, screenwriter Jason Hall mentioned the placement of the fake baby.

"Hate to ruin the fun but real baby #1 showed up with a fever. Real baby #2 was no show. (Clint voice) Gimme the doll, kid," he wrote.

Eastwood may have wanted to find real baby number three since the flub quickly fell to the mocking jaws of the Internet.
