'Avengers: Age of Ultron' debuts dramatic new trailer

The film will introduce Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Avengers: Age of Ultron debuted a new trailer Monday.

The preview sees Ultron (James Spader) wreak havoc on a "vulnerable world." Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) band together to fight the villain, while Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) is forced to take on ally Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Chris Hemsworth also stars as Thor, with Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The film is directed by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and scheduled for release May 1.
