'Sons of Anarchy' star Theo Rossi joins 'When the Bough Breaks'

The actor will star alongside Morris Chestnut ("Nurse Jackie"), Regina Hall ("Ally McBeal") and Jaz Sinclair ("Rizzoli & Isles").

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Theo Rossi has been cast in When the Bough Breaks.

The 39-year-old actor will star alongside Morris Chestnut, Regina Hall and Jaz Sinclair. Rossi will portray Mike Mitchell, the fiancé of a blue-collar surrogate (Sinclair) obsessed with the father-to-be (Chestnut).

Jon Cassar will direct the film for Screen Gems, with Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne as producers. Cassar is best known for executive producing Fox series 24, and will begin shooting February 2 in New Orleans.

Rossi came to fame as Juan Carlos "Juice" Ortiz on FX drama Sons of Anarchy. The program ended after seven seasons in December 2014, and the actor is also scheduled for Bad Hurt with Karen Allen and Low Riders with Nicola Peltz and Eva Longoria.
