LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Bette Midler gave new hope to children of the 90s after saying she would be interested in starring in a sequel to the Disney movie Hocus Pocus.
The question came up during a Reddit AMA when a user pleaded with the 68-year-old actress and singer to make a sequel so his girlfriend would stop making him watch the original every Halloween.
"You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company," she wrote. "The ball's in their court."
Midler, who played Winifred Sanderson, the eldest of the sister witches, is not alone in her wishes. Jarrett Wieselman at Buzzfeed confirmed Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker would be willing to reprise their roles as Mary and Sarah Sanderson.
Midler signed off with a message of hope to her fans.
"Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company. You have been SO adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!"
