Emmy Rossum, Justin Long fall in love in a parallel universe in 'Comet' trailer

Written and directed by Sam Esmail, the flick bounces back and forth between universes as it follows an unlikely couple throughout their 6-year relationship.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Emmy Rossum and Justin Long play a couple that falls in love in a parallel universe in the trailer for the upcoming comedy drama, Comet.

Written and directed by Sam Esmail, the flick bounces back and forth between universes as it follows an unlikely couple throughout their 6-year relationship.

Co-starring Eric Winter, Lou Beatty Jr. and Ben Pace Comet will be released in theaters on Dec 5.
