Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell join James Franco's 'Zeroville'

Franco first hinted at the project over the weekend after sharing a photo with a bloody Megan Fox from the set of the film.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- James Franco's cinematographic adaptation of Zeroville has secured two more leading stars: James Rogen and Will Ferrell.

Franco first hinted at the project over the weekend after sharing a photo with a bloody Megan Fox from the set of the film. According to Screen Daily, the comedy drama is currently shooting in Los Angeles and its being financed by Embankment Films.

Zeroville will be directed by Franco and is based on Steve Erickson's 2007 novel of the same name. The film will tell the story of a young architecture student who is obsessed with films and arrives in Hollywood during a transitional time in the industry in 1969.

The movie will also feature performances by Jacki Weaver, Danny McBride, Dave Franco, Craig Robinson, Joey King and Horatio Sanz.
