CULVER CITY, Calif., Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Players of the Angry Birds video game who hit the milestone of 1 billion birds in the past two days were rewarded with a glimpse of the stars of the upcoming animated movie.
Jason Sudeikis will lead the cast as Red, a bird with a temper problem, while Josh Gad will play speedy Chuck and Danny McBride will portray the volatile Bomb. Rounding out the vocal ensemble will be Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph and Peter Dinklage.
