'Dumb and Dumber To' releases 'Lucy' inspired posters

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels star as Scarlett Johanson's character Lucy in the new promotional posters for the upcoming comedy Dumb and Dumber To.

The comedians took to Twitter Friday to share their respective posters, which feature black a white close-ups of the actors with bright green eyes and their names displayed in front of their faces.

"The average person uses 10% of their brain capacity," the tagline reads. "Imagine what he could do with 1%"

The tagline is a play on director Luc Besson's sci-fi thriller Lucy, in which Johansson plays a woman capable of tapping into 100 percent of her brain capacity.

To takes place twenty years after Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne set out on their first adventure and finds the pair heading out in search of one of their lost children in the hopes of getting a new kidney. The film released its first trailer in June and is set for a November 14 release.
